Beyond Detention appoints new CEO

Beyond Detention is delighted to announce the appointmentof Sam Price as the new CEO from 2 January 2024. Sam comes to us from the homelessness sector, in which she’s worked formore than ten years. Since January 2020 she hasbeen Deputy CEO and Executive Director of Services of Signposts in Luton,where she is responsiblefor all of the services the charity delivers, working with more than 160 clientsacross Luton and Central Bedfordshire.

 

Sam lives in Bedford and has previously worked in the town for the BedfordHomeless Partnership and for Bedford Borough Council. She is a trustee of JustUs, a local homelessness advocacy andadvice service.

I have always been passionate about supportingpeople experiencing multiple disadvantage and social injustice, and I feelprivileged to join such an inspiring organisation.”
